ACI Ghana, an affiliate of ACI – The Financial Markets Association, brings together all money market, fixed income and foreign exchange dealers in Ghana’s financial markets. The Association has grown over the years to become a major influence in the Ghanaian Banking sector. Through interactions with major stakeholders, including the Central Bank, the association has played a key role in helping to set benchmarks of the wider financial markets.
ACI Ghana is a not-for-profit, non-political and serves as voice of financial markets.
Membership across trading, broking, operations, regulatory and compliance activities in foreign exchange, money, fixed income and derivatives markets. ACI Ghana currently has a membership of about 100 professionals. ACI Ghana’s activities are organised around its key pillars of Membership, Ethical Conduct, and Education.
- To improve technical skills and knowledge among dealers, and to promote the professional training and competence of new dealers;
- To contribute to the development of the Financial Markets through education, market practices, technical advice and networking events.
- To seek by every means to improve the reputation and dignity of the financial markets dealing profession;
- To promote education of the financial markets dealing profession;
- To provide a forum for presenting the views of members on any matters/issue that may affect Money, Bonds, Equity Proprietary, Foreign Exchange Market Dealings, Swaps and Derivatives.
- To collaborate as appropriate with government and other regulatory bodies in formulating policies on relating to the financial markets in Ghana.
